This makes it particularly alarming that as America lurches left, our next "stimulus package" (i.e., liberal pork bonanza) is to include funding for "family planning" — an Orwellian euphemism that means preventing children from being born.
Nancy Pelosi is taking a key role in dragging America down the path blazed by Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot. Here she is on ABC's This Week (via Drudge), explaining why the government will be blowing hundreds of $millions of our money on antifamily services in the name of stimulating the economy:
Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children's health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those — one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
Asked if she had no apologies for her antihuman ideology, Nancy the Nazi replied:
No apologies. No. We have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.
If government excess continues to leave the economy in ruins even after we've aborted our kids, next we can turn to the elderly and infirm.
Here we see why the government doesn't make any effort to improve the economic situation by lightening the tax burden and laying off the extravagant pork. The worse they make the situation, the more extreme the measures they can exploit it to justify.
