Nancy Pelosi is holding a press conference in which she has acknowledged being briefed by the CIA about waterboarding in 2002, but accuses the CIA of lying to Congress about the use of the technique and whether the techniques were legal. Pelosi also acknowledged, when pressed by questions, that she was told in 2003 by an assistant, that the CIA was using waterboarding. This puts Pelosi and Democrats in Congress who support her on a collision course with the intelligence community.Pelosi claimed that she took action to stop the policies, by working to take control of Congress and passing legislation several years later. Pelosi also used a logical and political slight of hand by asserting that at the same time the Bush administration was misleading Congress about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.Pelosi has upped the ante, and it seems inevitable that there will be a "truth commission" to find out what the person two heartbeats from the presidency knew, and when she knew it.Updates to follow once the transcript is available. What's The Next Crisis Obama Must Fix?

We’ve seen through the lens of history how various Dictators used crisis and circumstances to falsely rally the people to their side, calling for reforms, national security, change, health care and new jobs. The whole time, promising to fix problems that they themselves had caused. We have heard Rham Emanuel, Hillary Clinton and other top Obama voice pieces stating proudly that “we should never waste a good crisis.” Well, they certainly don’t seem to be wasting anything do they?
What are some of these manipulated crisis that are being used to manipulate our money and freedom away?

Remember the whole time you swoop in to take over the ailing banking institutions to blame it all on Bush, Republican leadership and evil corporations. It has everything to do with conservative overspending, especially on a waste of time war in Iraq. Of course none of the mortgage crisis and financial melt down has anything at all to do with liberals and liberal/ democrat bills. They only care about people and needs unlike the mean spirited and racist conservatives.
Naturally, that is why flaming liberal Bill Clinton repealed the critically important Glass-Steagall Bill that had long provided proper protection, guidance and limitations to the banking institutions and lending practices. Almost overnight, at the adoring and empathetic hands of the liberal democrats, bankers were forced to offer and give loans to undeserving customers, with bad credit, who would have never fit any proper banking guidelines to get a home loan, but now, thanks to wanting to avoid the appearance of racism to the extreme and not wanting to miss serve the poor, 130% mortgages started flying out the door. These were loans the liberals were forcing our bankers to give or face the music. It didn’t take long before they could see the other shoe dropping as hundreds of thousands of clients, no millions, defaulted. Banks started sweeping sidewalks at the graveyard and now……………. “Trouble in river city” that continues.
There were other times in our brief history that our economy was being flattened and interest rates were raising up to 21%. Those were the precious days of yet another bold democratic President Jimmy Carter. His policies of huge Government showed the economy a thing or two all right. It put us in intensive care! Thank God Ronald Reagan came around when he did. He managed to put some balance and common sense back in Government and took its size back down a notch or two and soon, the interest rates came back to normal and the numbers showed growth and health again.

I don’t know which one I like more, the endless blaming of Bush for everything or the reminding us all the time that he won and we didn’t. Both statements make me think of a narcissistic junior high boy having a word fight in the hallway.
The facts outside of Bush, the world economy and Republicans many vises, are:
Obama has forcibly taken over our banks. It’s on the record that many didn’t want funds and sent leadership to congress asserting their reserves. They were told you all take the money or no one gets any and you would get no more later if you needed it. Of course, they took the money. Then, it is also known, that many came quickly back to congress to offer their Tarp money back and congress would not allow them to pay it back.
Then there was the automobile take over
Chrysler is forced to merge with Fiat and we find out that many lenders were horribly threatened from White House sources if they wouldn’t agree to the terms. More mergers and misrepresentations will come with the auto industry as UNION bosses are paid back for giving so much to Obama. Watch the horror unfold as what were classic auto companies will now turn into UNION monopolies controlled by Obama, creating Frankenstonian, environmentally sensitive, mini cars that cost the earth and look disgusting!
The next ever so loving move by this President was to release the Homeland Security Report the day before the April 15th Tea Parties, identifying most of us as potential domestic terrorists. It read like a declaration of war against the American people and dared to list after pages of insults, even our brave and devoted vets returning from war. Unforgivable! Obama Slashes Chrysler's Ad Budget In HAlf...Noooo He Doesn't Want To Control The Auto Industry

First it was the chief executive firing the CEO of GM. NOW, he is cutting Chrysler’s advertising budget in half. But he doesn’t want to run the auto industry. BOVINE DROPPINGS!
As we have seen in our previous reports, Chrysler has put its main advertising partner, BBDO Detroit to work for the creation of the company’s new image. Even if such a move under bankruptcy might be considered a stretch, it’s not the campaign itself that troubled the waters.
Chrysler planned to spend no less than $134 million on the campaign. Well, actually, they will spend less. About 50 percent less, as the Obama administration will not allow the bankrupt manufacturer to spend more than half of that amount.
According to Court papers, the administration understands that advertising is a necessary expense, Autonews reported, but Chrysler doesn’t need to spend that much for the nine weeks campaign.
According to court transcripts, judge Arthur Gonzalez asked Robert Manzo, executive director of Capstone Advisory Group and a consultant to Chrysler: “Idle plants; why market?”.
The advisor answered “advertising and marketing dollars are critical to make sure the right message is out there about Chrysler, what’s happening to Chrysler during this interim period and why Chrysler will be a brand going forward that is one that a consumer should continue to look at as one of their purchase opportunities.” SOURCE - emphasis mine

They prove most conclusively how wrong those people were, who only a few years ago thought that these exhibitions were unimportant and uninteresting and hence quite unnecessary.
The German People have precisely the same desire to use a car as, for example, the American People. It is superficial to think that a figure of 23 or 24 million cars is natural and understandable for America, and 500,000 or 600,000 for Germany, when in terms of numbers the German People are equal to more than half of the population of the United States of America. No, the prerequisite in terms of population exists in Germany, too. b) The prerequisite for the fulfillment of this desire cannot, however, be any different to that in the rest of the world. The price of the individual car must match the income of the potential purchaser. This means that there will be people who are in the position to part with 20,000 German Marks or more for a car, because their income is large enough, but their number will not be very large. Reducing the price to 10,000 German Marks already creates a much larger number of potential purchasers. And the reduction of the price to 5000 German Marks will again mobilize a larger group of suitable wage earners. In other words: If I hope to increase the number of cars in Germany to three or four million, the price and the maintenance costs of these cars must be compatible with the income of the three or four million potential buyers.
I suggest that with this in mind the German transport industry undertake a survey of the income of the four or five million better-off Germans. You will then understand why I was utterly determined to initiate the preparatory work on the production of the German Volkswagen, and why I want to see this work completed, and, Gentlemen, successfully completed!
I have no doubt that the genius of the man who has been entrusted with the design and construction of this vehicle, together with those who will later produce it, coupled with the sound economic good sense of all who will be involved, will succeed in keeping the purchase price, as well as the operating and maintenance costs of this vehicle in line with the income of the broad mass of our People, as in America, where we have seen a brilliant example of how this problem can be solved. It is an unfortunate error to think that a development of this kind will persuade the purchasers of the better and more expensive cars to lower their expectations and to purchase a Volkswagen. No, Gentlemen, this car will result in the mobilization of millions of new purchasers, from whom will come those who, consistent with the progressive improvement in our standard of living, will all the more easily be able to purchase a better and nicer-looking car.
The Ford did not replace the better and more expensive American cars; on the contrary, it was the car which first attracted and mobilized the enormous masses of American buyers who later also purchased the more expensive makes. If we find two or three million purchasers for the new German Volkswagen, there will naturally be some who in the course of their lives will purchase a more expensive and thus better car. A large proportion will, however, never be in the position to buy a more expensive car. Not, however, because they are unwilling to do the manufacturer of this or that car a favor, but because they are prevented from doing so by their limited income.
To deprive these millions of potential purchasers of the pleasure of owning a modern vehicle of this kind, simply in order to avoid the risk that a few of the 200,000 or 300,000 who are better-off might buy the less expensive car, would not only be improper in human terms but make no economic sense. For this would mean artificially halting the most powerful economic development of our People and our country for reasons which are as selfish as they are shortsighted. I know that I am confronting German industry with a major challenge, but I am also aware that a German is no less capable than anyone else in the world. And problems which have been solved in one part of the world, must also be capable of a solution in Germany…”

What are Obama’s plans? Will he take Chrysler or GM and order the production of a tremendously less safe vehicle that could be afforded by the poorest of the poor in the name of green technology? We’ve heard rumblings of a voucher program in which an older car could be traded in for a new “more efficient” vehicle. Will Obama order a car to be build using green technology and the safety features of a bicycle in order to keep the price down? I have his slogan for him - “… a green car in every ghetto driveway”.
People, Obama is transparent and yet you people still idolize him. He is a Fascist in the purest definition of the word. He opposes full-out Soviet style Communism (on the surface) in spite of his socialist upbringing. But yet openly makes dictatorial decisions which match those of Hitler and Mussolini. When faced with the truth of his aims, his supporters continue to have the testicular fortitude to call us on the right “Nazis” and “Fascists”. Denial is not a river in Egypt.
It started with the firing of GM’s CEO and is continuing with Obama’s dictatorial decisions about Chrysler. But also keep in mind, he is inserting himself in other industries such as banking. Where will Obama’s Fascism lead us. Hitlers led to the deaths of 13 million people - 6 million of which were Jews.

Texting Trolley Driver Was Hired Because It Was A Transgendered Minority

The Boston-area transit authority trolley driver who allegedly slammed into another train while text-messaging his girlfriend Friday had three speeding tickets on his driving record in recent years and could face criminal charges.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority general manager Dan Grabauskas says the collision occurred at 7:18 p.m. One trolley was stopped between Park and Government Center stations at a red signal when it was hit by the second trolley.
Aiden Quinn, 24, received the three speeding tickets in his private vehicle, two in New Hampshire in April 2007, and one in Massachusetts in 2002, sources told ABC News.
Quinn, who was hired as a minority because of his transgendered "female-to-male" status, was born Georgia Quinn and boasts on an Internet networking site that he was one of the first transgender hires by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, sources said.
The trolley driver lists his sexual orientation as "FTM" and was hired as a minority using his transgender status, two sources told ABC News.

At least half the House of Representatives has to go. Better than half of the Senate has to go. Think about that for just a moment. . . . . the tally is already up near a thousand!But what a joy it would be. Now there's a contradiction in terms if ever I heard one! In all the years they've been in existence, have American school kids gotten better educated than ones from 30 years ago? No. In fact, thanks to the the Dept. of Education, most of our children are coming out of school totally unprepared for real life. The damage done to the future of this nation by the Dept. of Education is a crime against humanity. All the employees in that agency deserve to be shot by firing squads for the pathetic failures that they are. ALL of them!Agency after agency at the federal level are nothing more than complete, dismal failures and they deserve what they have coming.Thankfully, our friends in FEMA have already purchased one million plastic coffins, half of which are already neatly staked in a field in Georgia. I heard Obama was the 20th hijacker but missed his flight because Larry Sinclair just “couldn’t seem to finish.”
What? Too much? You know you’re laughing in your head.
Let me tell you something I’ve observed in comedy. When a comedian follows a harsh joke with a comment about going too far, it is normally because it’s being delivered into an awkward quiet, marked by scattered nervous laughs. You know, the kind of quiet that happens when you make a joke about Obama. The kind of quiet that says “can he … do they … is that allowed?!”
It is also true that normally, when a comedian follows a joke with such a comment, it’s because the comedian expected or intended that awkward silence. And when Wanda Sykes, this weekend, joked that she thinks “Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker but he was just so strung out on Oxycontin he missed his flight,” she obviously expected that discomfort. But as anyone who saw the video knows, the audience didn’t deliver.Sure there was some groaning, but there was raucous laughter as well. And what do you expect? The courtiers and courtesans know when to laugh and when not to by viewing their king’s reaction. And the king was indeed amused. Wanda Sykes did what a million comedians before her have done: she made a joke that was intended to be “too far” so she could follow up with the “you’re laughing in your head” comment. It’s a bit. It seems, though, Obama has no “too far” for Limbaugh nor even, it seems, joking about 9-11.
In fact “there is no too far” should have been the theme of the evening. How many celebrities and secondary balls and galas is too far? When you have a red carpet to make the Oscars blush and a constellation of after-parties and “galas” that would put Marie Antoinette to shame, is that too far?
How about ego? If you take what is traditionally a roast of the President and pals, and instead turn it into a roast of the prior President and pals, is that too far? When you not only presume to be above a roasting, but cast your haughty gaze about your sea of adoring glitterati and expect them to agree; When sycophantic comedians use their roast time to lavish you with praise while attacking your favorite bad guys like your own personal attack dog, is that too far?
What about the media? Is the gushing coverage of the President’s bash at last a reason to question their objectivity? That they gloss over “Limbaugh is a terrorist” jokes that would have seen someone stoned to death had they been about a democrat; that they report the event like Teen Beat fans given backstage passes to the Jonas Brothers … is that not too far?
But of course, none of these will be considered too far. For the left, in this game of political struggle, the embrace of Machiavelli is total. Or let us say Alinksy. And there is no outcry, no pushback (yet) in the public at large.
Janeane Garofalo and Keith Olbermann conjecture that conservatives are suffering brain disfunction and there is nary a peep. But Michael Savage titled a book “Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder” and is banned from Britain, to the cheers of the American left.
They call Tea Party protesters racists by rote. The Huffington Post paints the Tea Partiers as scary and dangerous despite their long silence over the left’s destructive protests. Will the hypocrisy be noted on a Sunday morning talk show? Is there any assault too far? No.
The President and all the king’s men have set this new tone quite effectively. It is common and unexciting to sound the death knell of conservatives and Republicans. There is no shame in rejoicing and shouting good riddance to political diversity or the two party system. Far from it, there are galas and celebrity hugging to be had in such triumphalism, for it’s the President’s stock in trade. From bashing Rush via the bully pulpit to pretending the Tea Party protesters don’t even exist; from “I Won” to grinning regally when kept comedians obsequiously do his bidding. This is his new tone.
And it’s a new tone that isn’t that new. It is the roaring left, seeking whom they may devour. It is who they have been for some time now, and he is one of them. The One of them. Perhaps not always in practice or policy, but in spirit and in tone.
Like everything the President does, this weekend’s dinner was focused on three things. 1. Extreme partisan rancor. 2. Hollywood glitz. 3. Glory to The One. These are the items exemplary of this administration. Like on spending, porkulus and expansion of government, like with ego and partisan hate, like in every non-gift-giving activity Obama undertakes, excess is the rule. The sum of his strategy is what will no doubt be the theme of his legacy: Too Far.

Teachers Want Students To Come Up With Terrorist Attacks

Considering that kids don't seem to be learning the three R's anymore, what do our tax dollars pay the teacher's unions to put into their heads? Other than white guilt and global warming, there's this:
A ninth grade history project at a high school in Pueblo was supposed to teach students about terrorism, but instead it outraged parents.
Gini Fischer says her daughter came home Thursday saying she had two minutes to come up with a plot for an act of terrorism.
Over 110 freshmen at Pueblo County High School were given the project.
Ever ready to accept responsibility — on someone else's behalf — educrats blamed the kids:
District 70 Superintendent Dr. Dan Lere said students may have misinterpreted the assignment.
He says if a student, "actually did illustrate an act of terrorism that they might commit, let's say against the school, we've expelled students for that."
Nonetheless…
The school district has decided to collect the assignment from students and destroy them.
Hopefully no students were expelled for doing their homework. Now kids, back to your government-issued coloring books:
